When a local winery wanted to drive attendance for their annual Easter event, they knew they needed to reach the right audience—families with young children looking for festive activities. Their event featured classic Easter fun like a visit with the Easter Bunny and a unique twist on the traditional egg hunt: a wine cork hunt! To spread the word and get families excited, they turned to a digital advertising strategy that delivered outstanding results.

To engage local families, we launched a strategic combination of Facebook/Instagram Premium ads and Facebook Event Response campaigns. By leveraging highly targeted audience categories, we ensured the campaign reached parents of children aged 3-8 who were likely searching for fun Easter experiences. Using Facebook’s robust interest categories, we focused on parents whose children enjoy popular kids’ programming, such as PAW Patrol, Peppa Pig, Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, Sesame Street, SpongeBob SquarePants, My Little Pony, Curious George, and networks like Disney Junior and PBS Kids. In addition to targeting families, we reached parents who were actively shopping for Easter baskets by tapping into categories related to holiday treats like Peeps and Cadbury Creme Eggs. To maximize conversions, we also implemented website retargeting, ensuring that anyone who had shown interest in the event within the past 60 days received additional touchpoints to encourage attendance. The results were nothing short of spectacular. In just one month, the campaign delivered 66,153 impressions, 1,963 clicks, 6,956 post engagements (including clicks on the call-to-action, profile visits, and site clicks), 117 post reactions, 17 post shares, and 209 event responses. Most impressively, the campaign achieved a 2.97% click-through rate, which is 42 times the national average. And most importantly? The event was a huge success! The winery was thrilled with the turnout and saw a significant increase in attendance compared to previous years.Whether you’re promoting a seasonal event, a grand opening, or a special promotion, the right digital strategy can make all the difference.
